TMT & ECG
Treadmill Test (TMT) is done to find the stress on the heart. On the machine the patient walks and the readings are taken. Electrocardiography (ECG or EKG) is the recording of the electrical activity of the heart over time via skin electrodes.
DO’s and Dont’s
- For two hours prior to your test: Do not eat or drink.
- Take your usual medications unless otherwise directed by your physician.
- Bring all of your medications with you in the original bottles.
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are suitable for walking on a treadmill.
